It is intended that students develop a set of three elements. These should be familiar. The objective is the development of three desktop icons. The icons will be forced to represent a real object (brought to class). The design process is free. The students may choose to design through digitized sketch or digital photography. They can also draw directly. The representations should be as realistic as possible. May use to illustrate with some degree of smoothing when that does not take realism to the representation.
